Yoga for Seniors

Stay strong, prevent falls and maintain your independence through an enjoyable Yoga practice that will improve your strength, focus and confidence.


This course introduces a Yoga practice appropriate for seniors. Take care of your back and joints. Breathe better for more energy and enjoy guided deep relaxations. Chair Yoga will complement Yoga on the mat. We will further learn fall prevention practices based on the Canada Fall Prevention Curriculum, including risk factors, individual assessments, and fall proofing.
