Learn how to bring the wonderful benefits of classical Yoga to others and take your personal practice to a deeper, more meaningful level during this 200-hour level intensive training course.

Certification & Credits

  • Upon successful completion of the course students receive the Certificate of the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers, entitled Yoga Siromani (Teacher of Yoga).
  • This training is registered by and fulfills the requirements for the Yoga Alliance 200-hour certification, for which graduates of the program are invited to register.
  • Course graduates can earn university credits toward graduate degrees from The Open International University.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

  • This course is designed for Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses, CNA’s, and other health care and human service professionals and meets the requirements for 60 nursing contact hours as specified by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing – 244 CMR 5.04. 
  • This program has been approved for 60 Approved Entity Continuing Education hours for re-licensure, in accordance with 258 CMR Collaborative of NASW and the Boston College and Simmons Schools of Social Work Authorization Number 51201.  Credits are provided through Berkshire AHEC.
  • This program is approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association for continuing education programs for occupational therapists.  Provider number 6138.  The assignment of AOTA CEUs does not imply endorsement of specific course content, products, or clinical procedures by AOTA. 6 OT or 60 contact hours. Category 1:  Domain of OT: Client Factors/Body Functions/Neuro-musculoskeletal movement and related functions. Category 2: OT Process: Health & Wellness. Educational Level: beginner, intermediate, advanced.
