Learn how the practice of Raja Yoga and knowledge of the subtle body can be used to understand and treat various illnesses such as heart disease, arthritis, asthma, and emotional problems. Through the system of Raja Yoga we will explore tools and practices to improve health habits and diet by using yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques. We will also explore the chakra system - the subtle energy centers within the body - to help us understand how illnesses occur and how they can be treated.
