Course Details
This unique program trains Yoga
teachers to adapt Yoga to reach new audiences and bring the full depth of Yoga
into any setting. The comprehensive curriculum teaches how to re-frame the
complete spectrum of Yoga practices, including poses, breathing, meditation and
attitude adjustment to make them accessible and relevant to any population. Our
graduates have successfully taught in corporations and the workplace, hospitals,
schools and many other professional environments. The training will give you the
essential skills and confidence to convey the essence of Yoga clearly and
concisely. It teaches how to use Yoga to heal from past stress and trauma, to
cope with life’s challenges in the present, and to build a center of health and
peace to prevent chronic stress and the illnesses that can result from it.

Asanas, including chair poses, adapted for workplace, healthcare and many other settings

Yoga methods for centering, positive attitude, and balanced living

Presenters
Swami Vidyananda Swami Vidyananda
is one of Integral Yoga's senior instructors and lecturers. She
specialises in workshops on yoga and the emotions and Stress
Management.
Jo Jaya Applebaum Jo Jaya Applebaum teaches
yoga and stress management in schools, hospitals, businesses and
one-on-one. She is a stress management instructor at the Center for
Cardiac and Pulmonary Heath at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York.
Prerequisite
Yoga teachers with minimum 6 months' teaching experience.
Certification
Graduates will receive certification from the Sivananda Ashram Yoga signed by the Yoga Retreat and the course instructors.

US$700 plus 9 nights' accommodation. For

Arrival and Departure
The course begins at 11:00am on April 16 and ends at 10:00am on April
23.
Please
plan to arrive at the Yoga Retreat at least one day before the start of the
course and to leave at least one day after the course completion.
We
recommend that you spend at least a few days in the Yoga Retreat before the
start of your course. This allows your body and mind time to rest, re-energize
and be nourished by the ashram environment. You can then begin your study
feeling relaxed and refreshed. You may also wish to stay for some days after
the end of the course to allow the learning from your study to integrate more
fully into your consciousness within the supportive environment of the ashram. If
you decide to arrive early and to stay longer, please register for the
