During this week, musicians from different religious and spiritual traditions will uplift our hearts and souls through the healing power of devotional music.
Presenters
Russill Paul
Russill Paul has been educating and entertaining the American yoga community for twenty years. The author of The Yoga of Sound: Tapping the Hidden Power of Sound and Music , he is also the producer of many well received music chant CDs. Having lived the unusual combination of a being both a Benedictine monk and a yogi under the direction of the renowned sage and mystic, Bede Griffiths in India, Russill is dedicated to interspirituality: living two traditions. His recent book is Jesus in the Lotus: The Mystical Doorway between Christianity and Yogic Spirituality. His website is www.russillpaul.com
David
Newman
David Newman (Durga Das) is a kirtan chant artist and a practitioner and educator of Bhakti Yoga (the yoga of devotion). He travels extensively sharing the spiritual, meditative and devotional aspects of yoga.

Reema Datta
Reema Datta has been teaching yoga internationally since 2003 and is the founder of the Usha Yoga Foundation, which brings yoga to marginalized communities worldwide. She has released an album of meditative songs called Truth Love Creation, and is co-author of the book Sacred Sanskrit Words for Yoga, Chant and Meditation.

Eyal and Danya
Eyal has a passion for celebrating music, dance, science, and spiritual growth which led him from the Tel Aviv music scene through Europe and India to the United States. Eyal inspires joy through music, playing with world fusion ensembles, and leading evenings of ecstatic song and dance.
Danya has been composing devotional music for as long as she can remember. Danya finds deep fulfillment in composing and sharing original Hebrew chants, wrestling with and revitalizing the ancient texts of her ancestors.
Davod Azad
Davod Azad is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Azerbaijan. He originally studied Iranian classical music but is also a master of Azeri folk music, ancient Persian music and Persian Sufi music.

Ken Whiteley
Ken Whiteley has been called a “roots music master”. With dynamic energy and a spirit of inclusion, he has lead gospel singing concerts for people from all walks of life, right across North America. He has recorded numerous CDs which feature his award winning original material, heartfelt vocals and instrumental virtuosity.
