Course Details
Do you want to make peace with your food choices so that they support your spiritual
journey and physical health in a joyful and effortless way? Enlightened Eating is an approach to health
in all ways with an emphasis on balanced holistic nutrition, food preparation and conscious living. Classes
will centre on various themes (Diet, Digestion, Detoxification, Mindful Eating) and will consist of lectures,
food preparation, awareness exercises and discussions. We will draw from many approaches including Ayurveda,
Living Foods, Macrobiotics and Vegetarianism.

Curriculum

Explore diet, digestion and detoxification from a scientific and conscious perspective.

Gain clarity around various approches to eating (Ayurveda, Raw Foods, Macrobiotics, Vegetarianism)
to guide you to the most health supportive selections for you.

Experience practices to explore and release the emotional components of food choices.

Spend time in the kitchen preparing nourishing, delicious, whole foods.

Caroline Marie Dupont, M.Sc., has been living and teaching an integrated approach to health for over 20 years.
She is the author of the book and DVD Enlightened Eating, and several meditation CDs, teaches nutrition,
meditation, yoga, and offers private consultations, as well as various courses and retreats. See

Prerequisite
This course is open to everyone.
Certification
Graduates of the course will receive a certificate from the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat.
Cost

Arrival and Departure
The course will start at 11:00am on February 4 and will finish at 6:00pm on February
7.
Please plan to arrive at the Yoga Retreat at least one day before the start of the course and to leave at least one day after the course completion.
We recommend that you spend at least a few days in the Yoga Retreat before the start of your course. This allows your body and mind time to rest, re-energise and be nourished by the ashram environment. You can then begin your study feeling relaxed and refreshed. You may also wish to stay for some days after the end of the course to allow the learning from your study to integrate more fully into your consciousness within the supportive environment of the ashram. If you decide to arrive early and to stay longer, please register for the Yoga Vacation Program for those additional days.
