Presenters
Swami Brahmananda is the manager of the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat and a senior staff of the Sivananda organization. A long-time practitioner of yoga, he regularly teaches yoga philosophy and meditation for the Sivananda teacher training courses. He is a much-loved, inspiring and knowledgeable teacher.
Cairo Rocha OMD, PhD is a Brazilian-born researcher, acupuncturist, doctor of oriental medicine, and the author of the book, Anger Goes Up, Fear Goes Down: Emotions and the Hidden Link. He lectures on energy healing and oriental medicine around the world.

Susan B. Lord, MD,Dr. Susan Lord graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, completing her residency in Family Practice.
From 1996 to 2007, Dr. Lord worked at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, DC where she developed and participated in professional training programs in mind-body medicine and nutrition. She has worked extensively in medical schools, training faculty in this holistic approach to self care and medical care delivery.
In January 2008, Dr. Lord joined the staff at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health where she teaches and provides consultations for Kripalu guests. She also works with individuals and groups in her private practice in Great Barrington, focusing on prevention and treatment through mindful living, lifestyle changes and effective natural therapies.
