We are thankful for the support, prayers and concerns from our friends and families during Hurricane Dorian. We are grateful that Nassau, New Providence and our ashram on Paradise Island were not severely impacted by the storm. While our ashram was not affected, unfortunately several of the family islands in northwestern Bahamas are experiencing devastating life-threatening conditions.

Tanya and Paul are organizing these two benefit concerts to raise funds for relief efforts. The concerts are free. Everyone is invited to come out, enjoy the events, and aid the cause; bring a dollar, five, twenty, fifty — all donations are appreciated. All proceeds raised from the concerts will be donated to ongoing relief efforts for the people on our sister islands through the Bahamas Red Cross, Heritage Church Soup Kitchen, and Hands for Hunger. If you are driving, take the bridge to Paradise Island. After the toll make a left, continue on westward, veering to the left past the Cove and the Reef until you reach Atlantis security where you will be greeted and directed to the designated parking area and bused to the Yoga Retreat.
If you plan to come to the concert via boat, plan to board at the dock on Elizabeth Avenue/Bay Street. There are parking lots on Elizabeth Avenue. Boats leave approximately every 15 minutes beginning at 7:00pm. The last boat leaves at 7:45 pm. Find our boat schedule here for free transportation to the event from the Elizabeth on Bay Marina.
If you would like to spend the weekend, reconnecting with something bigger through music, yoga, and like-minded company, we especially welcome those seeking spiritual sanctuary in the wake of the hurricane. The overnight retreat begins on Friday at 3:00pm with yoga, relaxation time, and dinner, followed by the benefit concert.
Minister Deon Cox will lead a seaside sunrise meditation and talk on the mornings of Saturday and Sunday at 6:00am and retreat participants are invited to take yoga classes at 8:00am or 4:00pm, partake in community meals, and attend an optional midday Saturday workshop.
Minister Cox is Minister and teacher at the Universal Foundation for Better Living headquartered in Miami Gardens, Florida. She has been associated with metaphysics for the past 30 years and teaches daily meditation as a practice in soul development

Tanya and Paul Hanna are Bahamian music icons as well as producers, songwriters, musicians, and vocalists. They have toured in the Caribbean, the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong. Paul and Tanya have performed with top R&B artist Jeffrey Osbourne, as well as Grammy winners Jeff Haynes, Gary Haase, Roger Ryan, Stan Getz, and Chick and Gail Corea. Recipients of many awards, they are also wellness advocates and are actively involved in their local community.
Roger Ryan is a Nashville-based Juno Award winning producer, nominated for both Grammy and Dove Awards, whose work has run the full spectrum of the industry and spanned a wide range of genres. Directing multiple choirs and small groups, his talents have taken him to Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, the Fiji Islands, Vienna, Germany, Milan, the Ukraine, Hungary, the UK and Moscow among others. This Grammy, Dove nominated, and Juno Award winning producer. He has also been dedicated to local church ministries, like Minister of Music for Grace Pointe Church.

Fly directly to Nassau International Airport. Please note: the Bahamas is an independent country and you will need a passport to travel here. Most citizens from the US, Canada, and European countries do not need a visa to visit the Bahamas (you can verify whether you require a visa to enter the Bahamas at Bahamas.com or by contacting your local Bahamian Consulate).
Please note Visitors from some countries are required to have vaccinations before they can enter the Bahamas. Please check with your travel agent or local consulate to find out if you are required to have any vaccinations before your trip.
After collecting your luggage and passing through customs, Call us from a courtesy phone or airport pay phone (they take US coins) at 363-2902 or use WhatsApp (+1-242-559-3642) — let us know you are on your way and we will send our boat to meet you at our dock in Nassau. Then take a taxi to our dock at Elizabeth on Bay Marketplace and Marina in downtown Nassau. You can pay for the taxi with American or Bahamian dollars (you can use either currency throughout the Bahamas and at the ashram).
Our boat will pick you up from the dock and bring you to the ashram (an easy five-minute boat ride).
