What happens to our inner world when we get caught up in the grind of daily life? Some people set themselves on autopilot — treating life like a monotonous set of routines. Other people react more emotionally, with aggression, anger, or feelings of chaos.
Despite our responsibilities and ties to the material world, the daily grind also provides an opportunity for us to reconnect with the people and principles that matter. Are you ready to take a step away from your regular routine and into a soul-restoring experience?
Leave the stresses of daily life behind and open your heart to a nature-filled environment, like-minded company, and the healing power of music. Celebrate the imperfections of life, create space in your own mind, and embrace the thorny and beautiful path of spiritual growth!
In this two-day program, you will enjoy a supportive and uplifting environment of community and new friends. The overnight retreat begins on Friday at 3pm with yoga, relaxation time, and dinner. Friday evening features a concert led by Bahamian musicians Paul and Tanya Hanna to heal your senses and soothe your soul.
You will experience the inspiring music and comforting lyrics, guided by the rhythm of the steel pan drum. The uplifting programs continue into Saturday morning with a silent walk and talk led by Rev. Dr. Livingstone R. Malcolm along the beautiful Paradise Island beach. Retreat participants are invited to participate in yoga classes, community meals, and an optional midday Saturday workshop.
