Shyam (right) and Mohini (left) renounced their professional careers in 1999 following a spiritual pilgrimage to the Himalayas. As partners in the lineage of Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda, they decided to dedicate themselves to the practice, study, and teaching of the full range of authentic yogic practices. They codirect the Yoga Warehouse, an award-winning Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which they founded in 1998. Instructors in the Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training Courses and Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Courses, they have helped to train and certify hundreds of yoga teachers.
