Fresh Morning Juice Recipe

From Petra Rakebrandt

This tropically inspired juice will get your day started with a boost! Each of the ingredients is packed with a handful of health-promoting benefits, including anti-inflammatory and digestive properties. It is especially rich in Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant), and manganese, a trace mineral which is an essential cofactor in a number of enzymes important in energy production and antioxidant defenses.

Ingredients
2-3 slices of pineapple, cut in pieces
1 handful of parsley
1 inch (or more) of fresh ginger, peeled
1 cup pure water or coconut water

Directions
Simply blend the ingredients together and enjoy! You can also strain it after blending to remove the pineapple and ginger fibers.

Nutritional Information

Pineapple belongs to the Bromeliaceae family, associated with many health benefits, including enhanced immune function, cancer prevention, improved wound healing, and better gut health.

Parsley is rich in Vitamin C, B12, K, and A, and supports the immune system. It also helps flush out excess fluids from the body, thus supporting kidney function.

Ginger is among the healthiest (and most delicious) spices on the planet. It is loaded with nutrients and bioactive compounds that have powerful benefits for your body and brain. Ginger has anti-inflammatory effects, can help with nausea and motion sickness, and is beneficial in cases of exercise-induced muscle pain.

I would like to do a long yoga and natural spring water fast at the Asharam. I do not want to have any food or juices. I just want to have fresh natural spring water, fresh air, sunlight, yoga, breathing, meditation and good conversations with all the wonderful people at the Asharam. How can I organize this for me at the Asharam?
