Anneke Lucas is executive director of Liberation Prison Yoga, a nonprofit she founded to address the traumas of incarcerated people through yoga and meditation. Anneke is an advocate for child sex-trafficking victims and her work has been featured in the New York Times. She is also a writer and speaker, covering topics from sex trafficking, trauma yoga, creating paradigm shifts, to service as a tool for healing. Born in Belgium, Anneke was sold into a murderous sex trafficking ring at the age of six. Five years later, she was dramatically rescued. Her background, recovery, and reliance on spiritual resources have provided her with skills and perspective for spreading her message about the role of love in healing, personally and globally.
