Grandmother Isabelle Meawasige is an Aboriginal medicine woman, traditional healer, storyteller, and ceremonialist raised by an Algonquin medicine woman and the Ojibway hunter-gatherer who walked by her side. Since being born into the Medicine Clan of the Bear, and walking under the protection of the Buffalo, Eagle and Thunder Birds she delivers highly specialized services based on indigenous spirituality. As part of a worldwide global women’s movement, she has presented powerful workshops throughout Canada and the United States where she combines ancient teachings with contemporary education to bring understanding and healing to many.
