Liz Owen, E-RYT 500, C-IAYT is a yoga therapist combining physical and energetic alignments with meditative action. She has taught yoga since 1990 and has studied classical Hatha yoga and meditation for more than 30 years with masters of many traditions. She is the co-author of two NIH-funded studies at Boston University School of Medicine, which studied yoga as a healing modality for depression and anxiety. She has presented this work at yoga centers and conferences internationally.
