Yoga Well Being Center
Slow down and experience your inner divinity.
Our natural state is one of health, balance, and joy. The healing treatments and consultations offered by the Well Being Center are designed to bring you back into this natural state. Our skilled therapists facilitate healing by working with the flow of prana (life force), freeing up the energy channels to bring healing to the mind and body. Take time to experience a yogic approach to health and well-being.
Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga, is an ancient system of holistic living that teaches us to balance our daily life with our unique physical and mental constitution through diet, herbs and other lifestyle modifications. During this 2-hour consultation, an Ayurvedic practitioner will explore your unique doshic constitution and evaluate the signs and causes of actual or potential imbalances. A treatment plan is then designed specifically for you.
Ayurvedic Body Treatment
Also called Bliss Therapy, this deeply healing therapy begins with Abhyanga, a balancing warm-oil massage with specialized strokes designed to move the oil deep into your tissues, loosening stored toxicity. Next Shirodhara or Nasya is applied (depending on the individual). During Shirodhara, a steady stream of warm oil is poured over the forehead and scalp, calming the central nervous system. The Nasya treatment involves applying gentle heat to the face and oil to the nasal passages. For those seeking the most healing, balancing, and transformative experience, this massage treatment is the ultimate in self-care.
Therapeutic Massage supports general health, increases circulation, releases stress and enhances the immune system. It can relieve muscle strain, aches and pains. Experienced therapists in energy and body work customize the massage to ensure you have the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience possible.
Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is a bodywork treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically, facilitating mind-body integration. The practitioner guides the recipient through a series of yoga postures while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy lines and pressures points. In this unique way, Thai Massage blends elements of acupressure, yoga, reflexology, physiotherapy, meditation, energy healing, chiropractic and Ayurveda.
