Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga, is an ancient system of holistic living that teaches us to balance our daily life with our unique physical and mental constitution through diet, herbs and other lifestyle modifications.
A consultation consists of in-depth inquiry to explore the client’s unique constitution and evaluate the signs and causes of potential or actual imbalances. The second meeting provides practical, easy-to-implement suggestions for cultivating physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well being through yoga practices and Ayurvedic five-sense therapies.

The initial session will explore where the client currently is in terms of overall health. The second meeting provides lifestyle suggestions using yoga and Ayurveda to gradually transition to a healthier life.
This deeply healing therapy — often referred to as the “bliss treatment” — begins with Abhyanga, a balancing warm-oil massage with specialized strokes designed to stimulate lymph and blood circulation, support hormonal balance, strengthen and help detox all the tissues of the body, supporting the immune system. It feels wonderful! A blend of organic seed and essential oils are applied to the client’s head and body. The warm oil treatment stimulates, clears, and balances the energy patterns of the body-mind.
This is followed by Shirodhara, the application of a continuous slow stream of warm oil poured over the forehead and scalp, calming the central nervous system. Simultaneously having a slowing and balancing effect, while stimulating the endocrine system’s pituitary and pineal glands, enhancing blood circulation to the brain, Shirodhara helps to release deeply trapped toxins. This treatment calms the mind, which allows for deep relaxation and improved sleep.
Therapeutic massage supports general health — increasing circulation, releasing stress, and enhancing the immune system. A treatment for energy clearing, it also relieves muscle strain, aches and pains. Our therapists draw from a variety of modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, cranial sacral, visceral therapy and trigger point therapy. Pressure is customized for each client.
Thai massage works with the meridians and pressure points. It promotes circulation, nourishes internal organs, benefits joint mobility, eliminate toxins and moves subtle energy (qi or prana). Thai massage leaves the recipient feeling relaxed and peaceful. The client remains clothed.
